Main Street Tascosa Texas in 1910

Photo of Main street in Tascosa in 1910 shows horse drawn wagon on dirt street and a couple of residents on porch of local store. Once called the Cowboy Capital of the World it was the largest city in Oldham County. Lawmen and outlaws who came here either became long-term residents or quickly left. By 1910 there was hardly anyone left.
