Kelvin Clark was born January 30, 1956 in Odessa Texas to Mr. and
Mrs. C. K. Clark. He
played High School football under Coach Dick Winder. Clark played college football for the University of Nebraska, and
was recognized as an All-American. Coach Tom Osborne called him
“possibly the best offensive lineman ever to play at Nebraska” He
majored in Physical Education and was nicknamed Melvin and Big Neck.
His brother David, played defensive tackle for the Huskers.
A first-round pick in the 1979
NFL Draft, Clark played professionally for the Denver Broncos from
1979 to 1981 and
New Orleans Saints from 1982 to 1985.
