Floyd County, Texas Honors All It's Veterans

One of the most beautiful and unique monuments in Texas started out as a 4H project by Skyler Cornelius in one of the least populated counties in Texas. The Floyd County Memorial Site is unique in that it honors not just our fallen heroes but those who returned home as well. From the Civil War to wars still raging around the globe it is a testament to the brave men and women who defend America.

Floyd County Veterans Memorial

Veterans who stood ready during peacetime also have their names inscribed in stone on this unique monument. You can visit the site at the Floyd County courthouse square in Floydada or browse the names of our heroes to find family members, friends and ancestors in the panels below.
