Mobile Home vs.
Traditional
With all the advances in the past
decade, manufactured homes now tend to look so much like traditional or
stick-built homes that many people are hard pressed to tell them
apart. Generally, the mobile home floor plan will be limited to one or
two-section units. In some parts of the country three and four-section
units are also available. You can even find a few two-story
manufactured homes, although these are rare.
The key difference between a
manufactured home and a traditional "stick built home" is that
manufactured home prices are much lower than those for stick-built
homes. In addition, advances in manufactured home design often provides
a more energy efficient and easily maintained home. |
