Local Governments Can Stop Businesses from Hiring Illegals



In a landmark decision, U.S. District Judge E. Richard Webber issued a summary judgment in favor of the City of Valley Park Missouri. The ruling clears the path  for cities and states nationwide to discourage illegal immigration with similar laws prohibiting local business from hiring illegal workers. The 57-page decision says such ordinances constitute the normal function of local government to regulate businesses and federal laws prohibiting the employment of illegal aliens encourage local governments to act in this manner.
