CAUTION
Baltazar Martinez is wanted in connection with the murder of a co-worker
that had a relationship with Martinez' ex-girlfriend. The victim was found
with multiple stab wounds in a wooded area near an apartment complex in
Palatine, Illinois on December 2, 2001.
A state arrest warrant was issued in Cook County, Illinois, on February
7, 2002, after Martinez was charged with first degree murder. Martinez
was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and an
arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Northern
District of Illinois, on August 20, 2002.
