Borden County Residents To Benefit Under Recovery Act
The
Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 is good news for Borden
homeowners. The act increases the loan limit for fixed-rate 30 year FHA loans
to $271,050 for single-family homes in the county. The new and refinanced loans are based on
your ability to repay. In addition, eligible Borden County borrowers receive a
refundable $7500 tax credit and
an additional
$1,000 deduction
for property taxes. Funds are limited so
