Drive Time
A class action lawsuit filed against Drive Time, formerly known as Ugly
Ducking, alleges the used-car dealer leaked customers' credit
applications, which included their
social security numbers and other
private information, to unauthorized outside parties. The suit claims that
Drive Time let out many confidential credit applications to insurance
brokers for the purpose of placing auto insurance, without consumer
consent.
